FAQ
How many pictures will we receive?
A full session typically includes 50-70 edited images.
How should we dress for our family session?
Outfits are completely up to the client's preference, but we recommend neutral clothing (white, grey, beige, tan, denim, khaki). You can add soft colors that go with the season to add a pop of color. We recommend you ask your photographer for inspiration.
What’s the best time to have a session with a newborn?
We recommend having a session within the first two weeks after birth. Babies are still sleepy and flexible at this point, making it easier to pose them in those precious curled up positions. We typically recommend morning sessions, shortly after your baby has had a feeding and is likely to be sleepy. Each baby is different, so we try to work at the best time for them!
How will we receive our photos?
Your photos will be available through Pixieset via a direct link or email. You will be able to review and download them from there.
What happens if it rains, and we have an outdoor photoshoot planned?
We have a few options if rain comes! We can either rearrange the timing to beat the rain, or we can discuss rescheduling for another day. Additionally, there might be some opportunities to move the photo session indoors, or in a covered area. Any time weather is a factor, the photographer will work with our clients and determine needs on a case-by-case basis.
Is there a discount if I book a maternity and newborn session together?
Yes, absolutely! We offer a special package price of $350 when you book your maternity and newborn sessions together at the same time.
